DSW- 34th St. NYC

Once again the iWeiss BannerHoist provided the perfect solution for a high profile retailer in New York City.  On the heels of the successful Footlocker project, DSW contracted with Coloredge Visual and iWeiss to produce and install a colorful, 27’ wide Grand Opening banner in its storefront window on 34th Street.  The motorized BannerHoist system, including a push button control station, was ideal for the minimal space available in the window display area and allows DSW to easily lower and change to other themed banners as desired.  Consisting of a yo-yo-drum winch and individual loft blocks for four lift lines, the iWeiss BannerHoist has a vertical travel up to 40’.  iWeiss Theatrical Solutions is a leading provider of drapery, rigging, and installation to the theatre, education, construction, retail, and special event markets.

Footlocker - 34th Street, NYC

iWeiss was contracted by Coloredge Visual to furnish and install a motorized banner hoist system to operate a pipe batten with a 30’ tall salutation banner in the storefront window of the new Footlocker on 34th street in New York City. The motorized system will allow Footlocker to lower and exchange the banner on a monthly basis within the tight constraints of a 20’ wide but only 18 inches deep window display area. Consisting of a yo-yo-drum winch and individual loft blocks for three lift lines, this banner hoist system has a vertical travel of up to 40’. A push button control station was installed on the lower level of the building so that the operator can observe the pipe batten while it is being raised or lowered. The banner was supplied by Coloredge Visual.
